Yes, I want to participate!!!
Are you ready for a new adventure with (possibly questionable) new friends? Want to explore the city, solve puzzles, and enjoy some perfectly justified daytime drinking without judgment? If so, join the greatest—some say legendary—Alicante Scavenger Hunt on the 23rd of May.

Area: in Alicante, mainly Mercado, Center, and Bario
Duration: depends, but say 2-3 hours, mas o menos….
Minimum age: 18 years
The expedition is done in teams of 4–5 people. You’re welcome to bring your own team of trusted companions, or—if your social circle is currently under construction—new friends will be conveniently assigned to you 🙂 Sign up individually or as a team (2 or 3 people is also ok), but don’t forget to enter the team name if you participate as a team. Once the mighty sum of €2 per person (a truly exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime deal) has been paid, your fate is sealed and your adventure officially begins.
The route
The ‘hunt’ will take place around Mercado, Centro, and the Barrio, covering about 5-6 km—unless you do cheaty cheaty. If you somehow end up in Carolinas, Benalúa, or San Juan… you may want to reconsider your scavenger hunt choices (and possibly your friends). The spots are not far away from each other, maximum about 5 minutes away from each other.
How does it work
You and your team will receive a sheet filled with cryptic, mysterious (and occasionally questionable) descriptions of around 20 locations across the city. Your mission: find them, complete a small task at each stop, and earn points—assuming your performance meets even the lowest of expectations. The adventure will take about 2–3 hours of walking, puzzling, and mild confusion. At three special locations, you’ll be required to buy a drink (tragic, we know) and solve an extra puzzle. Succeed, and you’ll be rewarded with clues for the rest of your journey… and a free shot 🙂 At the end, everyone gathers at a cozy spot with plenty of drinks and snacks. While the jury (highly professional, but open to bribes) counts the points, you can relax, celebrate, or start preparing your excuses.

The organization accepts no responsibility for any side effects, including but not limited to: panic attacks, traumatic experiences, pain when peeing, emotional meltdowns, a sudden need for lifelong therapy, accidentally catching Ebola, blisters, paper cuts, stubbed toes, unexpected existential crises, or—just to be safe—the outbreak of World War III.
By subscribing and completing payment, you acknowledge and agree to all of the above. Should you, for any reason—planned, unplanned, dramatic, or mildly inconvenient—be unable to participate, that is considered a _you problem_. The €2 will already have been spent on gambling and alcohol—any remainder will, of course, have been thoroughly wasted.
No refunds, no take-backs, no “but I changed my mind,” and no appeals to higher powers (legal, emotional, or otherwise).
